Strategy Alignment & Application
? Lead the development of the local WFJ Marketing strategy and plan as part of the overall WFJ strategy, to ensure Korea market has the appropriate focus and actions on marketing and customer relationship management
? Manage the translation and operation of the regional WFJ marketing strategies for all the WFJ networks in Korea and ensure right implementation and follow-up with actions
? Work with regional and local media teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure quality standard by performing quality checks, analysis and reports on marketing effectiveness and outcome
? Orchestration of full Marketing activities (360 degree vision): interface with VM, Retail and Merchandising teams to ensure consistency and alignment on priorities and calendar
Retail Leadership
? Develop understanding of the luxury retail market and customer trends, design appropriate marketing initiatives to support Chanel’s continuous leadership in luxury retailing
? Understand current and future luxury retail business, people, culture, trends and organizational needs in the markets, anticipate challenges and provide relevant marketing solutions that balance brand equity and retail excellence
? Collaborate, challenge and work with the related parties, define the needs of the different boutiques in regards to marketing, consolidate and address specific needs to Regional Marketing as appropriate and follow up action
Community Building / Knowledge Sharing
? Engage new and existing employees to the WFJ Marketing Strategy, foster communication and collaboration and create platforms of best practice sharing
? Build relationship with Regional Marketing team : promote communication and sharing platforms to be aligned on Marketing Plan and in order local needs are taken into account and translated in action plans
People and Resources Management
? Elaborate cross division activity with Fashion Marketing team: orchestration of new products launches in Fashion Boutiques, cross division projects implementation and cross division Marketing plan and clients management
Main Activities
Job Description Template
? Define the local Marketing calendar and priorities as declination of the Regional Marketing strategy
? Supervise, challenge and ensure each local Marketing Plan is aligned with Global/Regional objectives and priorities and follow up his implementation
? Manage the process of building the Marketing Plan and related budget: creating tools needed, support and challenge the markets, hold both previews and formal reviews to discuss and agree on strategies, sales, marketing activities and investments
? Consolidate local needs and gaps that are needed, formulate relevant brief for Region and follow up action plans and deliverables
Media & Communication:
? Supervise and challenge the media strategy, media plan and related investments for all media means including digital and ensure alignment to Global Media guidelines in collaboration with the regional Marketing Manager and the local Media Manager.
? Participate to the definition of local Social Media strategy in coordination with Regional Marketing
? Coordinate with local media team to optimize the implementation of Paid/Owned/Earned orchestration in local market according to Global guidelines and local opportunities
? Coordination of PR activities and communication.
Event Management:
? Drive the yearly event calendar as part of the Marketing calendar to ensure it is well balanced and each event has a clear objective and target in line with Marketing strategy
? Work with Regional team on major events (ie new product launches) to manage the execution and implementation that aligns to the overall strategy in the region
? Challenge and work with Region on guidelines and local proposals to ensure alignment of the
concepts for Region and ensure specific local needs are incorporated
? Coordinate between regional and local market to define concept of events that is aligned to both stakeholders’ need, initiate specific local event brief if necessary
? Provide post event report, measure efficiency (ROI and other KPIs), highlight key learning and recommendation for future events
? Supervise the marketing package: media, CRM tools and training requested

Key Interactions:
? All boutiques within the division.
? WFJ Division Visual merchandising, Merchandising and Training.
? Fashion Division
? Other department of Communications, G&A, etc.
? Retail partners of each department stores & duty free operators

Academic / Professional Qualifications
? University degree
Work Experience
? About 4~5 years of related work experiences in prestige brand of retail industry.
Required Competencies
? Strong marketing insight.
? Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to build relationships across diverse departments.
? Holistic insight in a long term view.
? Effective communication skill in Korean and English.
? Strong background of computer skill in MS office.
